; [EN]This final master's thesis consist of a didactic proposal based on the methodology of active learning of the technology subject in 3 of compulsory secondary education, in particular, of the plastic, material of technical use. Although Spanish educational system has renewed the legislative framework to which it is subject in order to equate to European education systems, these changes are not effective. There is a big problem with the lack of interest shown by the students in the disciplines of technology, engineering and mathematics, in particular, women, who present a lower index in the university careers enrolments of these disciplines and consequently work projection, adding the demotivation for the learning and lack of interest for the academic results. With active learning, yields and results are improved with respect to these aspect, as state by Olga Correos and Raquel Barragán, (Barragán, 2004) [1] " We try to focus learning on the student: to get his active attitude (active learning), to encourage his motivation, to teach him to learn, to face new problems, to take responsibility. To do this, it is necessary to rethink methodologies and contents, avoid routines, promote creativity, promote interdisciplinary, and work oral expression (presentation) and writing (reports)." The methodology of active learning is effective in students as they assure (Astin, 1985) [2] y (Cross, 1987) [3] since one learns more actively, where they employ more physical and psychological energy to assimilate the knowledge, that when we are mere receptors. To improve the above aspects, the most important advantages and disadvantages of active learning studied. Collection this information is developed a didactic unit of different activities based on the methodology of the active learning on the plastic. Material for technical use. Key words: Active teaching, motivation, technology, plastic.
